Counseling

Meet our Counselor, Mrs. Biggens!

My Goal as a School Counselor

My goal as a school counselor is to help provide a safe and caring environment to all students in hopes that they will become people of good character and develop into life-long learners through academic, career, and personal/social development. In an effort to accomplish this goal, I interact with students individually, in small groups, or as an entire class. I consult and collaborate with parents, teachers, school administrators, school psychologists, medical professionals, and social workers to develop and implement strategies to help students succeed.

I Can Help as a School Counselor

If you have concern about your child’s academic or personal/social needs, please feel free to contact me. I am available to meet with students individually or in small groups. This includes:

  • School supplies
  • Clothing assistance
  • Food assistance
  • Holiday assistance
  • Outside counseling referrals
  • Any other student/family assistance referrals

Help Us Stop Bullying

We encourage parents to talk to their children about the importance of being a buddy and not a bully. We also encourage students to tell an adult when they feel bullied in school. We can all work together to promote a safe and bully free school.
